# Help! My money tree just lost this leaf by the touch. I’m following…

Help! My money tree just lost this leaf by the touch. I’m following the watering instructions but the soil is pretty dry, could that be the cause? It’s also near a south facing window and I’m scared it’s not getting enough sun.. also any other tip for a money tree could help (I got two for my birthday and I’ve just been keeping plants for a year now, not an expert). Also found a little bug, looked around fruit fly, crawling around in the soil of one and couldn’t find it again to remove it, should I be worried?

Anything helps lol

I suggest not following plantas watering schedule. The schedule is helpful to have as a reference, but in the end, your the one that gets to decide when your plants soil is too dry or wet. The app doesn’t know that the soil could potentially be wet from the last watering, or too dry. I would spray your plant with desecticidal soap and neem oil, also with some water mixed in there, just to treat for any pests. This one particular leaf also looks a little sunburned, mind if I see the whole plant? It could be getting too much sun and not enough water, hence the dry soil and yellowed leave.
