New shoot? I have this growing out of my dieffenbachia pot. I’ve had my plant for about 4.5 years. It’s about 7 feet tall now. But I’ve never had one of these growing out of the pot lol.

dieffenbachia can definitely make new shoots from their root systems, looks like a baby to me!!
