So I had researched and what I found said that ivy seem to be the only plant I could find that sounded like it could ride through my menopause with me AKA my cold a$$ bedroom 🥶 sometimes 40° at night, in the winter, but the Planta app is telling me that I need a place that outside not even one spot I have indoors will suffice 😩🤷‍♀️🙄🤦 what the heck is going on, will it survive in my east-facing window in my cold room? Do I have it hanging low enough with my other question

I do not listen to everything this app say to do. You just have to kinda use your own judgement sometimes as it pertains to your environment.. if your plant doesn’t seem stress then I wouldn’t worry about it. Ivy plants are the best choice they are pretty forgiving. I have my burgundy rubber plant in my kitchen and the app tells me it isn’t in a good spot but it is because it’s thriving so well. The hanging basket looks fine to me, as long as this plant isn’t near your vent I feel it should be fine. One thing about our plants they will let you know when they are unhappy

I have a similar ivy outdoors in pots that survives under snow sometimes for days at at a time

I’m just laughing about your “cold a$$ bedroom”! Ahh, the sacrifices we make for our plants!  
I love leaving my bedroom window open at night. Even through our cold Idaho winters. But now my plants have taken over my house, including my bedroom, I’m not sleeping as well because my bedroom isn’t cold enough for me! LOL!

My house is def hotter and more humid than I prefer now 😩🤣🤣🤣🪴💕 I crack the window in the winter too here in Indiana🥶and 2 fans on high blowing at my face LOL I can't turn the AC on real cold because my poor husband is always cold and I make him put on a thousand layers of clothing Merino wool sweatshirts and hoodies 🤣🤣🤸‍♀️

I can't torture any plants in my room it's just too cold from everything I've researched anything that would hang in a basket is going to be very unhappy in my room except maybe the ivy it seems all right so far?
