# Repotting question… for this split leaf philodendron when I repot it…

Repotting question… for this split leaf philodendron when I repot it do the white bulb-looking-things need to be under the soil or do they stay out of the soil like they are now?

For some backstory for all interested lol - so I’m new to plants and was gifted a handful of plants in interesting conditions lol but I want them to thrive as much as possible so now that it’s spring I’m planning on repotting most of them because a lot of the pots either aren’t ideal or don’t have drainage holes and most of the soil seems questionable😬 wish me luck \& I’ll probably be coming back for more help haha.

I would leave them above, where they're used to being.
