# Any idea what would cause these brown spots on my arrowhead plant?…

Any idea what would cause these brown spots on my arrowhead plant? It’s putting out some new leaves that are pretty nice, so it seems to be healthy in that way. It tends to hold moisture, so it might be a water issue…I need help 🙈

How is the humidity?

I would asses the soil moisture,the amount of light the plant receives and check for signs of pests and disease.

This happens a lot with syngoniums. My rule of thumb, small brown sections is under watering. Whole leaf turning yellow at once means over watering

They’re also very finnicky

It doesn’t look like a humidity issue which would leave dry spots on various locations. It could be a watering issue. It’s likely overwatering if the brown sections turn soft and pliable before turning crispy. It’s likely too dry if the brown bits turn crispy without being pliable. Verify the soil is dry before watering. Don’t let it stay completely dry too long to avoid under watering. 🪴🍀
