# Why is it dropping leaves? This is the 3rd one this month? The others…

Why is it dropping leaves? This is the 3rd one this month? The others were kind of crunchy and curled on one side since I bought it but this one leaf wasn't. It was wet couple weeks ago so I moved it closer to a fan, and it dropped one there. Soil seemed better so i moved it to middle of 2 ceiling fans between dining and living rooms couple days ago. Now this one leaf dropped and ir looks like this... Thank you! This is one of my favorites! 😔

Before I check the roots, do I water it first?

Looks like the mold you see on fruit, you should use fungicide.

Oh EY! I have Captain Jack's Copper fungicide in hand. Is this OK? If this is not good one, do you recommend another one?

I have never had a fungal problem so I can’t speak on what a good fungicide looks like.

once you find a spot with good light not near a vent or drafty window Don’t move it! These guys are super sensitive to changes.

If the leaf was wet for too long mold would be fairly normal. If you have other leaves with mold, remove them. I don’t think you necessarily need to use the copper unless there’s more mold.

The last dropped leaves sound more like a watering issue.
