Y’all… my plant just sprouted this? I’ve had it for over a year and it’s never done that before. I thought it was a tradescantia but am I wrong ? Can anyone ID?

Can you show a photo of the whole plant to compare it to? The flower looks like that of a lipstick plant/Aeschynanthus. Here’s a few links to the types available for ID on this app to compare yours to. If the links don’t work, type “Aeschynanthus” into the Planta search section and look through the different types on the app to compare it to yours. Hope this helps!

I’d say it looks like a regular lipstick plant or the “Mona Lisa” cultivar. It’s a really cool plant. I recently got its cousin, the Goldfish plant, but I’ve been dying to find a lipstick plant 💄. Congrats on the blooms!
