My Rose of Sharon looks sad. I was gifted it, and I've been watering it. Is she in shock? Is it too cold? I'm in zone 6b.. I'm new to this so I'm not a pro... I want to be proactive. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

It may be too cold. The best time to buy plant trees and shrubs is in spring after the weather warms up. It allows the roots to take hold before cold weather sets in.

😔 Is there anything I could try?

Try rooting hormone powder around the roots. Add pine bark mulch around the base to keep the roots warmer than outside air.

You can put it back in the pot and keep inside a warm room/garage until spring, if they survive. You will need to give them 6 hours a day of direct sun (southern exposure) or a bright grow light.
