Got this caladium not too long ago. Split it and it freaked out so I put it in water. Gave me a crazy pretty leaf and has tons of new roots and off shoots growing.

Struggling with a caladium currently! New to them so following

Oh hun, I’m new too. I bought one with 4 separate plants in it. Separated them into their own pots with soil which they haded. Lost half the leafs and a foot amount of roots. Decided to put them in water because they hated soil. Got some new roots grow, had to slowly remove bad roots as they got mushy. Many weeks later they seem to be happy and growing. All have new growth with many healthy roots as well as some new growth points.
