# Hi! Newish plant mama here. I have some wildflower pots, a turtle…

Hi! Newish plant mama here. I have some wildflower pots, a turtle vine, and blueberry bush outside that can’t be brought in (DC/VA/MD area climate). What are some good options to winterize them while they stay outside this winter? When I got them I was told they’d be ok outside all winter but after getting alerts to bring them inside through Planta, I’m concerned for their wellbeing. Asking for advice! Thanks plant community :)

Also, I’ve nursed the blueberry just back to life and it had lots of new growth. Unsure if it’s appropriate to cut off the branches or if it’s fine to leave them.

Not sure but problem may be that many plants will overwinter in cold areas when planted in the ground, but not when planted in pots.
