There seems to be some mixed opinion about how to measure plant height for the app - are people measuring from the soil line or including the pot depth in there too? Thanks!

As my Irish ancestors would say…

Top’o thee dirt to top’o thee potato. That’s how ya measure how big it is.  
Not all them eyes underground.

I typically go from the soil line.  
Some of them though are too bushy to get any kind of actual measurement so I’m guessing about how wide it is. Lol

Yep, soil line. For plants that get wide and stay shorter, I measure diameter/width

If I remember correctly, an administrator said it made no difference for the app tasks. So to just measure a plant the way you want. For most topicals I measure height from soil. For a succulent rosette, I measure width. I don’t even bother for most of my plants.
