# Has anyone had the experience of flies-like, common house flies-on…

Has anyone had the experience of flies-like, common house flies-on their plants? If so, how do I make them go away? I don’t think it can be the soil bc other potted plants outside don’t have this problem. Google only talks about gnats and little bitty flies.  
They seem to be particularly interested in the sweet william but I also have petunias, polka dot plants, bee blossom and begonia planted in the same pot. I don’t mean a few flies. There are probably 20 flies on each pot! 🤢 Please help!
