I was gifted 8 tiny pots (4 inch) and they’re so cute I’d love to use them on my porch. What kind of plant could I put in them that won’t outgrow such a little pot too quickly? Zone 8a partial sun

I’d say succulents and/or cacti would be the best bet

Jade is pretty slow growing, ZZ plant too maybe as long as there is enough sun.

most of my succulents and hoya have yet to outgrow 4” pots, unless they are more than one plant per pot. if you have any hardy succulents like sedum, crassula, etc, these do well in smaller pots as long as they are younger plants. many hoya are similar in that they don’t require much room for their roots and are tolerant to a variety of conditions, but they are less common than succulents.
