Can anyone help me with the best way to take care of this plant? I have recently bought this plant, and I did not realize the rocks on top are glued together. I am not sure how to best water the plant even though there is a small hole close to the base, but there are also not any drainage holes. Does anyone have any advice on how to treat this plant?

It’s a lucky bamboo. They are typically sold in a glass potting jar with water. They put pebbles in the water to keep the stalks upright. You can keep about an inch of water around the roots. Water with distilled or rain water. No drainage at the bottom means this is meant to stay wet at the roots. Change the water every week. 🍀🪴

I tried to tip it over to see if there was any water, and only some pieces of soil came out of the little gap between the rocks and bamboo. Without the drainage at the bottom, I am not sure what to do with the plant in soil.

You may have to crack the pot like an egg and replace it. (Grow it in water). Then, break off the pebbles around the stem with pliers. I don’t know how to grow it without being able to check the soil moisture levels and without drainage.

That was what I was thinking I might have to do. Thank you for the help though!

No problem. That setup is stressful especially with no care instructions. Plants are supposed to be relaxing. 🧘‍♀️🪴
