Tradescantia zebrina (sliver inch plant) (wandering Jew) has many names, there’s different kinds of Tradescantias

your plant is tradescantia zebrina also known as a silver inch plant. yours looks different because it is etiolated (stretched due to lack of light) and this is probably why the scanner misidentified it. moving your plant closer to the light source, to a different window, or adding supplemental light will improve your plant’s health and growth in the future. be sure to introduce more light slowly as plants acclimated to shade can burn easily. also, for future reference, there is a plant identification group intended for posts like this :-)
