# Need help with a neanthe bella (Parlor palm)!!! I treated her…

Need help with a neanthe bella (Parlor palm)!!!

I treated her yesterday with an olive oil cleansing (recommended to me by my school's horticulturist) to help with these wispy, dry leaves. However, one day later, she developed these gray (and slightly translucent) spots! The plant also turned a darker shade of green.

Is it gray mold or is it normal? Please help!

Separate the multiple individuals in there and it is normal for old leaves to die and also keep the humidity up.

Update!! Turns out i just cleaned it with too much oil and the oil clogged the leaves' pores. Ventilated the room better and cleaned off the leaves to fix it- i think itll be ok!
