My dieffenbachia is really taking a hit in this cold weather. I’ve placed a space heater in my living room to try to keep it around 70. When I’m working and turn it off, it drops to 64 in here. I’ve already lost multiple leaves at this point as they completely shriveled up due to the cold…I’m so devastated. She was thriving just last week. 😞Now it looks bare again. I’m just glad that it’s still somewhat alive.

Although mine isn’t doing this, I will be chopping its head off and replanting it in a couple months. I did this a couple years ago and it’s grown taller than me since then. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to try this yourself! I keep my house at 68 with the plant right in the window. Dieffenbachia are extremely hard to kill in my experience. I’m sure it will be fine.
