# I have this plant and I had supported this branch by wood but…

I have this plant and I had supported this branch by wood but realized it just keeps going up up up and the other leaves aren’t growing. How do I manage this one stem??

They have clips that connect to the wall or add a trellis and wind them up so it shrinks them and creates a fuller plant. Id suggest a grow light. She might not get as leggy.

They love to climb! You could give it a post with a wider diameter so it can climb around it instead of only up. But personally i’d give it a trellis/hooks on the wall

If you give it more light, it won't elongate so much

It might hurt emotionally to do, but I clip them back, encouraging it to grow from the base. Since in the wild they use long growths like this to reproduce. You could clip it back and keep the cutting and grow and whole other plant! I like to do this and give the cutting to a friend!
