Not liking this app. When I pm it feels like I’m getting my replies via AI. How do I stop from getting charged $ after my year is up in 2026?

if you go into your account in settings you can cancel your subscription!

Not sure about android, but with iPhone you can go into your subscriptions and tell it not to renew.

You can do the same on Android through the Google Play store.

So far I love the app, but I dont really PM the support team at all. I have it mostly to remind me to water and do other tasks with my plants. The way my ADHD is set up, I need the app. I killed plants regularly before subscribing.

The app caused me to over water and now my plants are dying so I reached out to them and my responses are AI. All of them. Like it asked for updated photos etc. didn’t seem to even look at the healthy pics etc.

My opinion, none are perfect, but I tried several and liked this one best. I mainly need to track them because there are so many and I need the reminders to water so I don’t miss any. As for the watering schedule, sometimes I change it to custom, sometimes I tell it it’s not ready because it’s wet to see if it really will adjust itself eventually. I’ve never actually PM’d them, so I have no input on that.

Currently I’m having a technical problem with the app and they responded within 24 hours. If you have a health issue with a plant, you will get an automated email that they will respond within a certain amount of time. Is that the AI you are speaking of?

I have tried several apps and although this app does have some issues, the others were not as good. Some were not user friendly and others didn’t do as much. Cause I just looked at a few last week. I need something to help with my plants because I usually have about 170.

This app has definitely progressed from a few years ago. Frankly Dr.Planta still needs work , but I cant fathom the algorithm that would be needed to diagnose every individusl plant and situation correctly. Im gonna sound like an ad, but withoutthis app my plants would all be dead. I had deleted the app twice, but came back, paid for another year- I think I use it more than insta or tiktok. Anyway, if youre detailed and accurate about your plants info ( pot size, soil type, etc) than the app can be more useful. Its a symbiotic relationship lol
