# Hello succulent lovers! I’m new to succulents though I’m a plant…

Hello succulent lovers! I’m new to succulents though I’m a plant parent. But I hear they require a whole different level of care and they are easy to take care off? But I just got these Ghost succulents from a nursery, I’ve put them on a high shelf where they will get the most amount of sunlight. Online it says wait till the leaves start to curl before watering again but any additional advice would be very helpful! Thank you 🙏🏻

Succulents are very different in my experience. Mine do best when I act like they don’t exist, as little movement as possible and water only when necessary.

These leaves won’t curl necessarily, but they will begin to loose their plump appearance and wrinkle slightly, that’s when you know it’s time to water.

These are gorgeous! They appear to be happy in the soil that they’re in, it looks like they’ve been growing longer to seek out light. I personally like the leggy look, but if you don’t check out some YouTube videos on propagating succulents, it’s a lot of fun!
