Hello plant lovers 🪴🌱💚

I am new to the group/ app and had a question !

Does anyone know some really good plants that aren’t toxic to pets ? Specifically cats and dogs ! I really appreciate all the knowledge I can get no matter how big or small!

For cats… Prayer plants — and spider plants will give them a fun little catnip like buzz 🐝 😅

Sure! Marantas too and I think they are a little easier to care for than calatheas

No prob! Also… Basically every succulent I have is ☠️ so be sure to keep them high enough or out of reach of curious kitties 🐱💛

In addition to the above:

\- all orchids  
\- all palms EXCEPT fishtail palm  
\- all gesneriads (including African violets)  
\- Easter cactus and Christmas cactus

Agreed with JR! Peperomias are a game changer if you have animals that are curious. Super hardy plants too!

I have a Money Tree and a couple of Boston Ferns that have done well over past couple of years and are nontoxic. Just got a rosemary plant as I moved \& my balcony now gets sun. These are all nontoxic and fairly easy plants. I have others that are not and just keep out of reach.
