So I just got this majestic palm, and I know they can be sensitive to chemicals. I bought some distilled water for the first time watering it, but do I always need to buy distilled water for it? And how often does it need to be watered?

I’d use filtered or distilled water every time it needs water. All my plants that are indoors get filtered water. I’m not going to remember who needs and who doesn’t, LOL.

Go to a pet store and buy a water dechlorinator for fish aquariums 👍 Usually labeled “water conditioner”

I just learned something new here ladies, thank you! I LOVE Majestics but I always make them unhappy. Duh it’s the water!

I don’t use filtered or distilled water for mine. I also don’t fertilize it - the last time I did (several years ago) it almost died.

Also, I water it when a few inches on top gets dry.
