The flowers are supposed to stand straight up, so I would water it now. Only water it from the bottom, meaning place it in a dish and put water in the dish, to soak it up. Don’t water it from the top as the crown is more likely to rot that way.

Honestly they are very challenging and I usually kill them quickly, despite my strong history of long term houseplants. Consider it a temporary plant or the equivalent of cut flowers that require more care, and you will likely be happier with it!

Haha good to know, thank you! I was a little scared when I saw that the plant was marked as ‘advanced’ on Planta

Luckily they are very affordable so do your best, don’t stress, and buy another one when you feel like it. ;)

Oh and they really don’t like heat. Next time I give them a shot, I’m going to buy in the fall or winter.

Here in coastal SC, mine go in outdoor planters \& bloom in the early spring. They come back every year \& I mostly ignore them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Cyclamen are so hard for me so good luck 🍀 hope you have better luck than I do

Cyclamen actually bloom and then die back in summer naturally, and then put out new growth in fall. So if yours appears to collapse after blooming, don’t assume it’s dead! Just stop watering, put it someplace cool and dark, and in fall repot it and it should resprout!!
