Just needing to share with others who get it.  
My first Polly had 2 corms that I planted 2 months ago \& they’ve just started growing and a leaf has already emerged.  
And I recently purchased a mystery alocasia from the nursery and that’s starting to leaf as well! Excited to see what it’ll be, they had no idea
