# My peace lily is due for fertilizer and I’ve been nervous to…

My peace lily is due for fertilizer and I’ve been nervous to fertilize it. I use this fertilizer a few months ago on some plants and two of them died shortly after that I thought maybe I did it wrong, but it says to put one pump on the top of the plant and then water and any advice.?🤍🪴

I’ve used that for a few months and haven’t had any ill effects. Even got new sprouts! I pump it into the soil at the very edge.

Idk I’m scared of that brand fertilizer after my FLFs decided to die after using it for the first time and a couple other plants seemed to get burned from it possibly. I used the tropical indoor plant version and diluted it in water according to directions sooo idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll hopefully be trading it to someone else that isn’t scared of it lol

I use this now at every watering and it’s been great. It was a rec from another user, plantyann!

This is the fertilizer I use, my plants LOVEEEE it! It’s usually in the Garden Center at Walmarts.

Im convinced that’s the Miracle Grow indoor plant food is just water, it does nothing.

Personally I have never fertilized my plants (except my air plants) and they do fine. I also try to avoid the miracle gro brand because I have not had the best luck with it.

Never use miraclegro fertilizer it can make you plant grow faster but that’s usually through force and it can seriously harm your plants and even kill which you’ve already experienced. But it’s definitely not something you wanna use if you want to keep them alive. But for fertilizers that are safe I personally use Dr. earth indoor plant food my plants love it and usually after use they give me bigger leaves while also letting them grow at their own pace
