# My begonia Akerbar cabinet ( don’t mind the corms and alocasia at the…

My begonia Akerbar cabinet ( don’t mind the corms and alocasia at the top currently building another prop station) but how does it look ? Can I add another begonia in here? I’m thinking a Candy stripe , Julau type 1 maybe a vari. Snow cap🤷🏽‍♀️

It looks lovely. But I see a few places you could put some small ones. Right there in the front if you want.

What are your begonias planted in? I see leca and water trays under them? This is very interesting and seeing how happy yours are has me wondering if my partner needs to do something like this. It’s beautiful and I think you can definitely get another in there!

Thank you . The two can begonias are in Grow Queen aroid soil mix. It’s chunky so I also added a little perlite. The Begonia Nigritarum is in spaghnum moss and perlite. The leca trays with water is to raise the humidity in my cabinet cause without it was at lower 50’s with my fan.

Ahh okay, so the water and leca isn’t anything to do with the actual watering for the plants? That’s a creative way to add humidity

Right, the Polka dot is on a ceramic tray and the pink dot is in this acrylic clear tray they’re both on top of the leca so no water is coming onto the plants as we know Begonias hate being soggy
