I found these reptile UV lights in the garage. Would they be suitable for grow lights? I don’t have the box or anything, so I don’t have any specific details on them, but any help would be great!

Yes, a NICREW aquarium light can be used for house plants, especially those that are low to medium light level plants like ferns, peace lilies, or certain air plants.
Explanation:
Spectrum: Many NICREW lights, particularly those designed for planted aquariums (e.g., NICREW SlimLED Plants Light or ClassicLED Plus HO), offer a full spectrum of light including white, blue, and red LEDs. This spectrum is beneficial for photosynthesis and plant growth, as blue light aids in vegetative growth and red light promotes flowering and fruiting.
Intensity: While aquarium lights are effective for aquatic plants, they may not provide sufficient intensity for high-light demanding houseplants like succulents or flowering plants that require intense light. You may need to position the light closer to such plants or consider supplemental lighting if necessary.
Duration: Aquarium lights are often set on timers to simulate day and night cycles for fish. Houseplants generally benefit from 10-12 hours of light per day, so adjust the light duration accordingly using the built-in timer or an external one if available.
Considerations: Ensure the light's placement allows for adequate light coverage without scorching the plants. Additionally, be mindful of humidity levels, as the light can increase evaporation rates in pots.

I've used aquarium lights for houseplants in the past and they worked just as effectively as regular grow lights. I'm unfamiliar with how reptile/UV lights differ from aquarium or grow lights; that and the fact that you don't have any details about the lights would lead me to implement cautiously if I were in your shoes. I would make sure there's at least a foot of space between the plants and the lights to make sure no plants are burned if the lights are strong. I'd also start them out on a 6 hour timer, just to ease into it and see how the plants respond
