Yay thank you! I love repotting

I would wait until it’s actually rootbound, which is when it looks like there are more roots than soil or there are several rows of roots coiled at the bottom. If you repot now, it is very likely it will end up overwatered.

This seems like a better idea. Thank you!

Yes, you need to repot. You need a chunky mix. Use soil, bark, peat moss, and perlite. Mix it all up. Remove all the current dirt. Use fingers and gently massage it off. You can use a chopstick to poke through. You wont hurt the roots. You can also completely submerge the remaining dirt in a bowl or bucket of water. In the stage you can check to make sure the roots are healthy. Once most of the old soil/dirt is off. Put it in a larger pot than the one it was in. After pour water till it comes out the drain holes. Happy planting!!

It’s too soon for a repot of that plant because it is showing more soil than roots. Wait until it has more roots as suggested by Riley. You risk getting root rot if you have more soil holding excess water on the roots that the plant can’t use.

That’s a good soil mix for syngoniums. A mix too chunky will drain too fast which will force you to water often. 🍀🪴

I’m going to be the tie-breaker for this, I would not be repotting until there are more roots and the plant gets bigger
