# i got my BOP this summer and didn’t take it out of its pot right away…

i got my BOP this summer and didn’t take it out of its pot right away when i got it back home (traveled one state over) and i’m not sure if i’d be stunting it by doing it now. I want to look at the roots and freshen up the soil and i know i certainly shouldn’t wait until it gets colder, but would it be beneficial to wait until spring? or do it now?

I saw do it now. I've recently repotted a few newbies that were very crowed in their nursery pots.

fyi- there was large chunks of styrofoam in the dirt and a larger top layer of rocks than i had originally thought. good call!! i think she’ll be much happier now
