Considering getting a rain catcher. Have a townhouse so I don’t know if I’ll be able to use any of the gutter rain catchers. Any recommendations on what type of rain catcher I can get to put in the front of my house (those plants get all the rain when it rains. Or for something I could put under/near patio to collect down below?

Get a trash can of your desired sized, put a mesh screen on top to filter trash and debris. Cut a hole at the bottom to add a water spout. They also have em on Amazon but its way cheaper to make your own

I would talk to your HOA for acceptable options or go to them with the recommendations you find here. I would hate for you to buy and love something, just for the HOA to say no.
