Are they succulents and are the dangly things the roots growing out the bottom? Thats super cool ive never seen this as an idea with the upside down basket, just curious how do you get the soil to stay in? If you dont mind me asking

No, it’s an air plant on the bottom. And the soil stays in there because I used chicken wire.
