sooo i just got a Polka Dot Plant and im super new to plants, any advice i can get on them is super helpful, i have it inside in my room and my led lights is the only lightsource it gets, should i move it to the window? how do i know if its okay? please help 😭😭

im not an expert but i know they like moist soil and i spray water on mine with a spray bottle a couple times a day

Mine is under a grow light as well and is doing good. I’ve mostly struggled with humidity with mine, it will develop brown edges and curling leaves if it does not have enough humidity. If it starts to grow leaves with mostly green and little pink variegation, it needs more light :)

Awh I got one last week as well! I have christened her Frenchy. I am also new to keeping plants. I have already discovered these babies like to stay hydrated! I did not water for a day or two after bringing her home in fear of overwatering and she started to wilt and looked so sad. As soon as she had a drink she was back to being full and beautiful! Plants are so fun to watch them change. Good luck with your polka dot!

Every time I get these they’re happy and grow well for a while, and then they get sad and go down hill. They do like a TON of humidity so it’s good to go in a cabinet or humidity dome. And mine have been fine under grow lights. But they’re very pretty!!

Mine hangs on the porch, I water when the soil is dry (once every two weeks) . Mine has grown into a giant in the past couple of months.

Take it out of terracotta they always like moist soil
