Halloween countdown: Hydrophobic Soil

"Your plant’s roots trapped in a desert of dry, cursed soil! No matter how much water you pour, it vanishes like a ghost, never reaching the roots. Hydrophobic horror strikes, leaving your plant thirsting in despair while the water slips away, mocking you. Will you ever break the curse and save your thirsty plant?"

Got the 🎃👻 - spirit yet? 😀

How many plants found their final destination in the plant graveyard when I was yet too naive to understand hydrophobic soil!
Woe and horror! Their ghosts cry to me from the ground! The very. Dry. Earth.
