# Can someone please tell me what this plant is and if it’s actually…

Can someone please tell me what this plant is and if it’s actually alive? my mom bought me a mystery three pack of plants on Amazon. It has green and purple leaves, although half of the leaves are dried up and wilted but the other half that is connected to the stem is still alive. I gave it a good amount of water and it’s perked up a little bit but it’s still very rubbery.

Can you see the stems on the bottom, so they look good? Just rule out root rot.  
How dry is the soil. Make sure moist not wet. I let my new plants dry out a much as I can without affecting the plant.  
I don’t think pests, but if giving the right water and sun, it COULD be. Also pick a spot and leave it there for a while.  
Look up lighting and humidity care for the plant ☺️

Looks like a purple waffle plant. I actually just bought one.
