# Just read this from the state extension site: aeschynanthus radicans…

_Pubblicato da eatyacarbs il 2024-07-22_

Just read this from the state extension site:

aeschynanthus radicans — the name comes from the greek work auschune, meaning shame; anthos, meaning flower; radicans, meaning having rotting stems… shame flower with rotting stems?! how miserable for such funny, happy little flowers 😂🤓

the site also claims the flowers have a foul smell, but i haven’t noticed that at all 🤔

What a sad name for such a beautiful flowering plant! I petition to change it lol 😄
