I would wait a half week-week and then transfer it to a pot that is \*barely\* bigger than the previous one. Never give the plant a full drink. I have a beautiful money tree that gets watered around once a month, just barely. It’s thriving.

Note this: how often your tree needs to be watered depends on the time of year and where you live. I went from living in Texas to Alaska and the plant care differences are extreme.
The money tree I spoke of is in Alaska. During the summers up here I’ll water it a bit more if I notice it growing bigger and faster
