actually lucky bamboo don’t like a lot of sun, especially direct sunlight. that’s a big no-no. I changed the water in mine every couple weeks and had it about 8-10 feet from a west window and it was happy. I’ve read they have a very short life cycle of only a few years, FYI.

Yes most likely if it’s starting to yellow it’s getting sun scorched and needs moved to a shadier spot

it may just be with younger, less-established lucky bamboos, but mine has been a pain in the butt🙄 but not too much sun and filtered water of some sort (they dont like just regular tap!). if you’re getting yellow leaves, it’s probably one of those two issues. once i changed that, mine hasn’t gotten any

Wow, thanks for all your great advice! I got it because it’s a part sun/indirect light plant so I put it near my prayer plants.  
I did use Zero water and clean corse silica sand to hold it in place in the water.  
I found conflicting info on how and when to feed, so I just used one drop of all purpose fertilizer.  
And my daughter gave me a pretty rum bottle to keep it in. 😊
