_Publicado por OG.99 el 2025-01-23_

I just moved out of Florida to ND and im think my plants are fuuucccked😢. Illinois Weather Shocked them Real bad…thank you, Illinois. Do you guy honestly think theres a Comeback With these? They got Sunlight the whole way up (in my car) and i read to water them As soon as possible After being in such cold weather (lowest was i think -16😬) and i put up one of my grow lights. i Did water most of them before leaving because they genuinely needed to be watered
But That was dumbest thing i could’ve done?? Idk But i Keeping telling myself they will be fine and just need some time But I am convinced they are donzo. ive moved out of florida Multiple times During this Season and never had a problem before so i genuinely do not Know what to do LOL i need some Advice and Possibly hear some harsh Reality words
😂😭

Ouch! Temperatures at -16°F has probably damaged the root system especially in the small pots.

I recommend cutting all the damaged leaves and stems. They won’t recover. They will rotten and help promote fungal and bacterial growth. Check the roots in about a week to see if any plant has good roots. There is a small chance it could survive.

should i cut anything thats
soft/Limp? Ik all the black is Done and is Never comeing back

#### Sunny respondió el 2025-01-23

Wait a week if it looks a healthy color, but, it’s only limp. It may be the stress making it limp.

Chop and prop whatever healthy stems you can find! My daughter just had to do the same thing.

Might be better to just start over ☹️

I bet some will bounce back! Even moving your plants around your house can make them stress and wilt. So doing that at the extreme will be a bit of a relay to get them back on their feet, but I bet you can do them huge favors with a little TLC.
If you do have to go through and cut off gross roots or replace the soil, remember, this will make them “panic” even more, and might look sad and wilty for 1-3 months. My in real life plant doctor mother has said that it’s best to give them that time, and be patient if you’ve done all that you could for them.

Okay thank you so much. I ended up Cutting everything that was clearly dead and Not coming back (Was all black and mushy) and I will leave them where they are. The soil is still Very wet so I should maybe wait To check the roots? but Then Possibly will get root rot if not already or dead/rotting Roots from the shock that need to Removed. should i wait So i dont shock them even more or Drump the soil out and Start over so its not cold Wet soil?

#### OG.99 respondió el 2025-01-25

Should i Wait a little bit because i only moved about 3 days ago \& give them a break?

### NyxHallow comentó el 2025-01-25

I would wait till they have a few weeks till you change soil, unless they are moldy. They are already in shock from moving climates, so they would be even less happy if they have to overcome reporting shock as well. 🤘

Okay i will wait! They seem Alright For now But You never know lol
