# My Burgundy Rubber Plant is losing its deep burgundy and leaves are…

My Burgundy Rubber Plant is losing its deep burgundy and leaves are curled. It is not dehydrated and I have it in Part Sun, Part Shade outside. Any ideas? I don’t know why but I just don’t do well with these ever.

Try more shade. Faded color and leaf curling indicates too much light. Try to position it to where it only gets morning sunlight instead of later in the day and stays shaded during the hottest parts of the day. Also just keep checking the soil to see if it's drying out faster than your anticipating. In the depths of summer it could need watering every 3-4 days if the soil is drying out that fast.
