My opinion is p e s t s. Treat by spraying with neem oil, however don’t leave in direct sunlight, oil can help sunlight burn the leaves. You can also wash in Castile soap, which bugs and pests DO NOT like.

Many conditions can cause brown spots. It could be a watering issue. Under watering can cause spots that dry out.

Overwatering can cause edema where the cells burst. Water only when the soil dries. Stop misting. Misting can leave large water droplets that can block the natural transpiration process where leaves release excess moisture Check that the relative humidity is not too high which can also block transpiration. Ensure there is good air circulation around the plant which helps dry up excess moisture.

Bacterial infections can cause the spots. Isolate to prevent spreading. Wipe down the plant with hydrogen peroxide. Flush the soil it. Disinfect hands and tools.

Rust, a fungus, can cause brown spots especially if there is residue that wipes off like powdery mold. Treat with a copper fungicide.
