# I have a giant shelf above my TV that I would love to fill with…

I have a giant shelf above my TV that I would love to fill with plants! But it is north facing, and doesn’t get too much light from the windows. It’s about 8ft from the east and north windows.

What plants would you recommend here?!

None. There’s not enough light for hardly anything. You could try a pothos but it would probably get leggy and sparse. Add grow lights if you want to fill the shelf with plants

I think if your hoping to have any success with anything up there you are definitely going to need some pretty grow lights. The only other solution I can think of would be to do a nice arrangement of air plants.

get a grow light!!! you could find one that clamps to the shelf and you could have any kind of plant you want! i can post a link to my favorite one if you’d like! (it’s pretty cheap for a grow light)

Barrina is another brand that has some good lights on amazon!
