# Hi, does anyone know what type of plant this is? It’s been at my dads…

Hi, does anyone know what type of plant this is? It’s been at my dads house for 20+ years and he thinks it’s a happiness plant but it definitely isn’t. The app thinks it’s a spineless yucca but I think the leaves are too far down the stem for that to be correct.  
It also desperately wants repotting 😭

I honestly think it’s a spineless yucca still, Y. elephantipes. Especially the way the leaves are spaced and the trunk is bent

You right about it needing to be repotted. It cold be doing better, check the trunk and make sure it’s not getting soft. If it does feel like that then cut the top off and put in water it will grow roots. I have done this
