So how do air plants work? Do you spray them with water? Do they need any water at all? I only ever found out about air plants just a little while ago, so I have a lot of questions! If I can get any advice on how to take care of them and where to get them, that would be awesome! I think they’re really cool, and I want to find out more about them!

I don’t own any, but I think you just mist them every other day or so and then water by plopping it fully submerged into water.

This comment well explains it 👆😉
They don't need/have roots, you just put whereever you like! You can find them at Home depot/Lowe's (they usually have cute terrariums of air plants and air plants mounted on cute decorations) and of course on Etsy(many varieties and different sizes!)

I have one! I’ll show you a picture when I get home. My air plant likes bright indirect light. Some people say to soak the air plant but I’ve been misting them about 3-4 sprays with a spray bottle 1-2 times every week and it’s still alive. It depends if it’s dry or not I’ll mist again. You’re supposed to let the air plant dry upside down to prevent water from pooling in their bases, but I just leave them alone and shake excess water off and it’s fine. Make sure they dry out completely between waterings to avoid rot. Don’t put near a draft or vent. If the tips of the plants turn brown could be over watering or under watering. I just googled today and were supposed to fertilize them, which I didn’t know about that. Another factor to consider.

I also checked out your profile and you have similar plants like mines! Super cool. I have a moon cactus and I haven’t done much with it and it’s alive still 🤣
