Hey, wonder if you can help! This little buddy is shedding pines and thinning out. I have watered it (only when soil dry), fed it and spritzed it as pines browning nearest the spine of it.  
Any ideas?  
I’m actually plant sitting this beauty so am extra worried. Any thoughts?

Since it’s browning mostly at the bottom I would guess under-watering make sure that the water is actually getting to the roots sometimes if the dirt stays dry for a long time it gets hard and the water goes right through it
