Found mealybugs on my jades. Cleaned, alcohol swabbed, sprayed with insecticide soap.

Do you usually repot, or just keep treating?

Depends on the infestation. If small, you can keep treating a few times a week for a few weeks. Get some insectacide spray and spray the whole thing down and the top soil before bed so it can dry overnight without potential scorch from the light. Its okay to leave it. End of each week give the leaves a good wipe down to clear its pores. That worked for me.

For mealies, redo treatment every 5 days to ensure the pesticides hit them at the right stage of development. They live about 31 days, so if you are mealy free for two months, you're done. Also check your other plants; they tend to travel
