# Hello, I need help with my Bamboo Sticks I got these three bamboo…

Hello, I need help with my Bamboo Sticks

I got these three bamboo sticks after a plant show but on my way home the stems broke off of all three of the sticks. I want to properly take care of them without hurting them further.

Any tips on what I should do next? I really want to take them out of the propagation cups.

New leaf stems will reemerge. Bamboo is resilient. They like bright light and can stay living in water or potted in soil. Several stems are usually bundled together to make the leaves look fuller.

They really are ….I had them sitting in a random decorative pot for the past few months and they look like this…I found some rocks in house and put them in a new vase.

Get you some rocks from Walmart or dollar tree some use fish tank pebble but I don't like how they get stuck in the roots. Think thumb size rocks and then a 3-4 inch tall vase or bowl atleast 4 inches wide honestly any vase works depends on how many rocks you want you use.

Put a small amounts of rock/pepples in and the place the bamboo in put rocks around it to hold up the bamboo fill with water and change water every 2-4 weeks.

I got a straight bamboo and a curve bamboo in the same vase had them for over a year now and they are almost 2ft tall

Thank you so much. I had some rocks in house in the meantime and a decent size vase to put them in and I tied them together and poured filtered water over them. Thanks for the tip on changing the water out.

I also fertilize mine with miracle grow the pump style house plant one just one pump when I remember to fertilize the other 6 plants the cat hasn't eaten yet

Look mine was small I only put water in it when the glass is almost empty, that’s why I put it in the transparent one so I can see the roots and the water.

Beautiful 💛 Yes, I have mine in a clear glass to see when the water is getting low. Thank you for sharing your plant.
