# A few months ago I pruned my jade plant in hopes of it growing…

A few months ago I pruned my jade plant in hopes of it growing bushier. After researching it said that 2 stems should grow from the point where I cut it, but I’ve noticed only 1 stem growing from each point.

Did I mutilate my plant for no reason? What might’ve I done wrong? And does anyone have suggestions on promoting a bushier plant?

friendly reminder to only post the same content to one group! many of us follow multiple groups on the app so we end up with the same post repeating in the feed. i think the cactus \& succulent circle was the right place for this one — especially since you have replies there ☺️☀️
