Does anyone have experience with the red emerald philodendron? It is currently my fave and I love how tall she’s getting.. I’m wondering tho, do leaves fill in or do leaves only grow on new stem growth..if that makes sense..

They’ll only grow from the top unfortunately. I’m assuming you’re asking because you feel its getting leggy? …. Its doing that to find more light. If you want to fix that I would suggest waiting until spring and then cutting it down to where you like the leaf dispersement, it will grow from there and with more daylight it shouldn’t grow as leggy.
