# Hey all - I have this neon Pothos, and I can’t quite figure out…

Hey all - I have this neon Pothos, and I can’t quite figure out what’s going on with it. I have a few other others scattered around my apartment, but this one in particular seems to have a weird problem. It’s getting super dense towards the end and not wanting to continue vining. The leaves are super condensed at the ball towards the end and they have a lot of blackish brown spots on them and you can see a lot of roots along the stem trying to grow.

Two things come to mind.

Is it too close to the window and it has no way of getting further away from the direct sunlight?

In the last picture, I tried to show the perspective of it in the room that it is in where maybe the air vent that blows on it is drying it up so it’s turning the leaves yellowish and causing it to not vine more?

I’m starting to think that it is simply just too close to the window for this type of plant since the other one seemed to be doing just fine that are a little further away from the window. Any help would be great!

I would back it away from the window. They like low to medium light. Make sure you’re fertilizing it once a month if it’s winter for you over there.

Maybe give the leaves a quick rinse off in the shower to get any dust or dirt off of them so they can photosynthesize better.
