Hi all...found thrips on my Thai Con last week. Washed it off, treated with neem oil and isolated. Once I no longer see any pests, how long until she can join the collection again? Everything I am reading says treat for 4 to 6 weeks. Can she rejoin the collection once the pests are gone or is there a waiting period? Thanks! (I tried to post this on the pest group but for some reason it wouldn't let me. So i posted it here....not a double post.)

I think thrips can live under the soil too so next time you eater, add some hydrogen peroxide to it! After that leave it quarantined for 2 more weeks. Check the plant and if all is good, it can join the collection again!

Thrips have a 21(ish) day life cycle. They lay their eggs in the leaf, which protects it from topical treatments. The larvae drop down to the soil and then come back up as mature adults.  
This is why it’s important to treat both the soil and foliage for at least 21 days.
